Any advise on how to go about finding out what some knives in my dads collection are worth?

You need to have Gold membership or higher to ask value of a knife. I would recommend this because you can also use the market sub-forum here if you want to sell any knives AND this is a fun place. Pics to help ID the knives. --Welcome--KV

It sounds like you are perfectly clear that we can't give you the values right now since you don't have a gold membership so that's good.

You can brows sold eBay listings to see what the average selling price for the same or similar knives is, or you can pay for a gold membership here and let our fine members here tell you.
There's also worthpoint you can sign up for ( not sure the cost ) which will have sold listings and give you an average value. I think that's how it works anyways I've never actually used it.

How’s this sound like this person knows they can’t ask value without a gold membership? Am I missing something?
