Hi!
Just wanted to share my appreciation for the Bog Runner. When I first got it I was a bit surprised, I didn't read the measures really, I'm Swedish and used to the metric system, and I thought, based on how I saw the proportions, that it would be bigger, so a little surprised at first, used it to some extent. I live on an old farm (not a farmer though) and use a knife here and there, think it's fun to use different blades. Anyway I tried it a little and put it away. Later had a sharpening-shop nearby thin the edge down a little, and the guy got it really sharp, now I began using it again and long story at least a little shorter, now it's one of my all-time fav's! Whoever designed it made really good choices with over-all geometry, not only the blade-shape ant thickness and edge curve, but the handle-shape, width, thickness, length, shape all of it makes it so damn practical. Like the width of the base for strength and also when cross-batoning, you get some height and it's thin enough to cut. And the tip helps you get in to get precision in small stuff, then the width of the base of the blade is enoght to hold the blade and work with the tip if that makes sense. So many ways to use this amazing knife!! It's some kind of in-between size, not sure if it's a big small, knife or a small big knife haha, joking a bit, but kind of not. Even chops surprisingly well know for it's weight thanks to the overall geometry I think. Ok, wishes: I always want more, never get enough knives, want it in INFI or AEB-L or both, might be curious about a blade with a slight recurve instead, although I love the up-swept curve. What-ever you wanna do keep developing this knife, it's a gem!!! And the suggestions isn't a critique at all I'm just pushing the human right to more excellent blades y'all 😁
