This is just a short note to thank the good folks at the DDR shop for their attention to my old Camillus Cuda Maxx. The knife needed sharpening and the D2 steel challenged my limited honing skills. An e-mail that I sent to DDR requesting advice on the situation was replied with an offer to sharpen the knife and only a charge for the return shipping. The knife was back in my hands in a week, with an edge as keen--or even keener--than when it was first purchased. I am impressed with the courtesy and attention given to me, especially considering that DDR had no specific responsibility for the knife's maintenance.

At some point in the future I hope to invest in a similar knife made directly by the good folks at DDR. I will be saving my pennies for that day.
