Appreciation stations

Been getting out here a bit more lately to do “stuff” and not just working at the table in the dining room on little things.
Gun cleaning doesn’t go over well with the lifelong roommate at the table in the house…

Wanted something I could use the BIG hammer on and not have nuts and bolts bounce off the surface.
Harmonics are fun and all, buuuuut…

My son was painting a project today so I grabbed my station and joined him at the table. Cleaned up the EDC2. It was in fairly dire need. Some because of minor edge damage while being abused. Mostly from my horribly damaging field sharpening skills. I didn’t take it back to perfect. Just perfectly serviceable for more abuse.

I’ve seen your shop and you Sir, are the BALLER. I’ve learned to love this knife and sheath fetish from fine craftsmen such as yourself. Thank you for the inspiration.

I will say this though, if it weren’t for the time spent in my home’s gun and knife rooms “hobbying”, I’d be totally insane by now. 🤪
Ironic how weapons and tools can calm the mental storm that our violent and cruel world sometimes provokes. 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻
