At our local gunshow last Sat I picked up a 4 line Camillus rope knife. It is just like the middle one on page 104 of Mike Silvey's book "Pocket Knives of the United States Military". Jigged walnut (?) scales, full blade with patina, big bail and a half stop. Marked on the right side of the tang "Approved" " USCG" "1944 Q5". Blade is quite tight and once again I am amazed at the quality of WWII production knives. it was worth the $10 to me, so now I have another knife for my collection.
