Approximate value of 112 (1980)

I have a new in box 112 ranger from 1980. It appears to be a variation one considering it doesn't have a nail notch. It's in very good condition with a small amount of tarnish on the brass, but otherwise new and unused.

Does anyone have an approximate value of this? I don't want to sell it but would love to know what its worth.

Thanks, Al

110 may be a little more collectable, simply because they were made first. Lots of folks collect the 112 as well. They go together nicely in a collection.

I'll go with the goose on price. Its always a little give or take, but depending on the box and papers, could go more. And how close to mint it is... Tarnish on brass isn't a problem.

It's mint. The box and papers are in excellent condition, the knife looks new other than the brass which, as stated, has a little bit of tarnish.

yes i agree with the above estmate ... and yes it is a up comeing collectoable !
many are going to theam collections and 112 is one of them
advertiseing knives are another ...
do what pleases you ! collect for your enjoy ment not invest ment tho it is a why to help convence the wife to let you buy them tho it is like my wife said tell you sell it is a hobby not a investment...

Thanks for the info guys. I had a chance to take a picture of it compared to a brand new 112. I'd say it's damn close to brand spanking new condition, but the brass isn't quite as bright and has a few spots. Take a look for yourselves....
