The knife for today would be a 412 ScoutLite. I do not have a proper one.
Somewhere along the line mine received a 422 Transplant.
With this thread started, hopefully someone will show the real deal.

It seems on mine, the blade is etched but not the tang. Or the blade is blank, but the tang isn't. Hmmm. The newer style is OK.

1983, not yet branded as a 412 SCOUTLITE but still a 422 BUCKLITE. No question though that it was an official BSA issue knife - NOAC 1983 - maybe the first of the BSA issues. OH

Wow, these Scoutlites are really neat looking. I don't recall ever seeing these at the Scout Shops of the various Councils I've been a member of over the years!
