April 2022 Buck of the Month - 112 S35VN 50th Blade Etch Marble Carbon Fiber Inlays

While I do agree that we are overdue for a 124 the chances are more likely that we'll see a folder this month. An Ironwood 124 would be right up my alley but I hate to think of the price.

Folders are a sore spot for me because too many supposedly can't be shipped north of the border even though they actually can. Someone at Buck very much needs to solve that hiccup in the shipping details. I missed out on the June BOTM 110 because of this but recently acquired one from Craig, thankfully. It passed through Customs and the inspection process just fine.

Yep, I agree ☝️

I don’t think anyone would disagree, obviously the planning for the April knife didn’t start March 31st lol. I do wonder how far out they have these pre-planned and scheduled though. I’d imagine it has to be 3-4 months at least so they can prepare to have the materials on hand?

My guess though is a slipjoint this time around….single blade stockman.

I personally think they have no long range planning for BOTM. I think they wait for us to open a thread and start speculating what it will be, then rattle off 500 of something completely different. I'm going with a Vanguard this month. That means it will be a 303 :)

I’d like to see more fixed blades that match the pro series as BOM’s but since we just got the 117 “pro”. My vote as always is for more smooth bone knives to add to the old BASSPRO set.

I have 0 interest in a stick tang 124. I’m not a huge believer in full width tangs, but I like that the 124 has one.
