Special price on these will be $100.00 with kydex sheath. If anyone is interested in ordering, post here and email me. At this time delivery will start in late April.

I'm in. I've debated this for over a month and I must have. Let me think of the handle and liner options and I will send you an email Sunday.

Good call cronenbone. John's knives are great, you can't go wrong. I'm also gonna pull the trigger on this one, anyone know where I can sell plasma?

I think cronenbone knows about my knives. ;) He already has two, has three more on order , and now this one.

Do a lot of reading but not much talking...aka...a lurker. Guilty. I'm slowly changing my ways...slowly. I used to buy and sell knives a lot about 10 years ago and then the desire slipped away. Guess what, it is back. At least the buying part.

All I can say with John's knives is that I like what I see. And, I like what I have received. I can't wait to get the new ones. They will all be used. I started looking to buy a new knife to take with me on hikes and to use for some general camping/utility purposes a couple months ago. I looked at various production models and they were so similar to what I already had. Then I started browsing the custom builders on this forum and I found John's knives...and I was done looking.

Now, I can't stop buying. I thought I was done with the last salvo and then the April special...ugh, the April special...the Hiker. Must have...

I am going to try my best to take pictures and write reviews for each when they all arrive and I have a chance to carry and use them. I have a few trips planned this summer and a few projects around the house. I'm not much of a bushcrafter or a guy who depends upon a knife for my job. But, I do have a long history of carrying a knife daily and handling a few over my life.

Can't wait to get the new ones. As I have said in my notes and emails to John, keep doing what you're doing.

Chris

Excellent taste in knives! I have 2 and ideas for more, just no money in the budget.

All orders posted above will be shipped in April. Due to the orders received here and by email, any more orders placed will be shipped in early May.

Is the sharpened edge length 4". Or is it 4" scale to tip with the shapened edge length just under 4" ?

Reason I ask is that for general carry my state says I must have a sub 4" sharpened edge.

Sharpened edge is right at 4". I can make them a little shorter, or a little longer, I don`t charge any different. My knives are all ground out one at a time, so changes are not a problem.

dam it. i really like that knife and i promised my wife no new knives for a while. what are you doing to me john? hehe. well im on the fence on this one ill sleep on it.

I'd be all over this one if I did not just order the March special.
But, there are plenty of days in April...

There are all kinds of articles and post talking about "only one knife". If you were only going to have one knife this would be it. I've used mine for everything from food prep to splitting wood and never been disappointed in its performance.
