I received my Aqua Salt today from thespydercostore.com and was astonished at how soon it arrived. I ordered it Friday night via snail mail and it arrived this morning. It was shipped from Florida and I live in Laie, Hawaii. The knife is beautiful! I did notice that there were some minor scruff marks on the handle, however. After examining it I noticed that the sheath is a problem. It is so tight that I generally don't lock in the knife all the way. If locked in completely, the black coating rubs off. I'm not a fan. I tried to loosen the sheath by completely removing the G-clip but that didn't help all that much. I think that I would love the knife if not for the sheath. The knife feels amazing in hand and the blade came semi-sharp. I ordered the SE version so will have to touch it up soon. I did have a few questions for those Spyderco owners who own a fixed blade with a G-clip...
1. Is there a way to loosen the sheath?
2. What is your preferred way to EDC the knife (G-clip position) without being too uncomfortable? I've tried a few positions but think that I'll just have it on the outside of my board shorts while fishing.
