Aqua Salt..whatever happened?

was wondering if anyone knows why this model was discontinued (i think?).

i've been out of the loop for a while but i do seem to remember sal saying in a post that this was a very rugged knife and comparing the stress tests to busse, etc.

any feedback?...what is the replacement model, if any?

Presumably the only reason spydies get discontinued- sales. It's unfortunate that some don't sell well initially only to have their utility realized after being discontinued.

They pop up on eBay all the time. I'm actually watching one right now. Could use a good, anti-corrosion fixed blade for kayaking adventures.

There was some discussion awhile back concerning the cost of H1... the outcome was that all H1 fixed blades were being disco'ed as a result...( Caspian, Rock Salt, etc.)
