I'm new to the forums, so let me start by saying hello. I'm wondering if anyone owns this kinfe and what they think of it. Thanks in advance.

I have one, I wrote a review awhile back.

The a/o mechanism / lock is an interesting design, and you'll play with it for awhile. The knife itself is for light duty and is made pretty well. But I can't find a good way to easily flick the thumb stud, I just can't hold it without fumbling.
If you can get one cheap it's not bad, other wise if you want an A/O knife get a Kershaw. Also some vendors have been closing out the Camilus Heat at around $20.00 , they are excellent.

I found eknifeworks with the Heat for $19.99, but they're out of stock. Know of anywhere that still has them in stock for $20?

I agree with you on the Heat. I've had both knives and the Heat is by far a better knife. For $20 each, I'd stock up on the Heats.

If you don't really have to have an AO, get a Spyderco. They are definitely the best knife for the money.

They still have some with the partially serrated blade listed.

I must've got the last two. :) The Heat is a steal at 20 bucks. Love to see a Spyderco collaboration with Darrel Ralph.
