I had to look about 5 times, but it appears that the actual edge length of the SnG is closer to the AR than I thought. Thanks for the pics, btw. Always dig seeing comparison photos...
Just for grins, I just measured the actual cutting surfaces of my SnG and my AR. The SnG is 2.95", the AR is 3.35" (my AR is a tiny bit shorter than most). When you consider that the overall length of the AR is 1.2" more than the SnG, that's pretty cool. 1.2" less knife with only .4" less cutting surface. The AR weighs about 9 ounces, I'm guessing the SnG weighs 3.4-3.8 ounces.
One thing about L.O. Little is that the whole truth comes out very sparingly. ("Honest, honey, the Al Quaida poured poison down my throat! It took a full quart of tequila to flush my system! The strip club was the only place open!")
Lynn should have also showed you a picture of the thickness. The AR is almost twice as thick as the SnG.
I'm carrying my SnG today for the first time. I've been checking my pants pocket to see if it's still there all morning. Dang, I haven't found anything to cut yet!
