My two cents on the matter, the AR is much more utilitarian and easier to sharpen than the GB, But the that is the the case of tanto blade. But the GB does look cool. Any input from owners.

Perhaps I misread your post, but the AR is NOT the tanto folder. The GB is.

And I too look forward to replies on this thread.

I've ntoiced that it is easier to do push cuts with the AR Chopping seems to be easier too.

I'm falling in love with the GB tanto point. Will any one tell me if The GB has a pocket clip? I will be buying one soon! Cheers!

Thank you from all I read about the GB I was not clear to me if they did or did not have a pocket clip...Cheers!

Well, I only have the GB. I like the more aggressive appearance of it. The only time that I have sharpened it, I sharpened the tip and the main edge seperately. Their angles are different to my eye and need to be sharpened seperately and then a light stroke down the whole blade to bring it all together. I used the magic marker on the edges to find when I was duplicating the Strider angles and then worked with it. I have actually found that the fronts steeper angle and the juncture point of the two edges actually give this knife all sorts of usefullness. I had also thought that the AR would be a better utility knife. I am not sure now. The GBs differing angles and edges seem to give me all the usefullness that I require out of most blades. Granted I will not use it as a scalpel to remove a splinter, but for most jobs this design is as well suited as the drop point design. The GB and The AR do have a pocket clip, in answer to the question by one of you gents. I think that either Strider folder you choose to buy will prove to be an incredible using blade. I truly belive that your likings are the important key in a choice like this. Either blade will serve you well, I am sure.

I've got another question about the Strider folders that I just tack onto this post. I have a CR Sebenza and I am now very fickle about fit and finish on folders because of it. How does the AR and GB compare in that area to the Sebenza.

Ok, another way to pose the question is that a Strider folder compares to a (insert name of knife) in terms of fit and finish.
