Great looking sheath Ed.I really like nice leather and Gary sure does some nice work.

Gary does excellent work .....I have a few Sebenzas that will be visiting him soon. One that I got from him ( small ) and one that just arrived today ( large ).
I only wish I had took him up on having him make a sheath while it was still in his possession.

that is a work of art G2 !!!!:D

Whydja keep the clip? Don' need no stinkin' clip !! As usual, great work by G2. Check out the lock-shaping on the finger indent !! Awesome !
But how can you use "low-key" and "AR" in the same post? (Harhar)

MtMike, I've request for keeping the clip on the knife, and probably the best reason is, ya never know what might happen if you remove the clip and the little screws and later on want to put it back on...things tend to be GONE when you remove them...

Also there are times when they may want to clip the knife discreetly inside the waist band and this they can do at a moments notice without having to remember where they left the clip and screws or the small wrench to tighten them down with.

So while it would be a trimmer sheath, it doesn't impact it's overall look, and if they do decide that the clip will never be used, the sheath will still hold secure as it relys on the perimeter of the knife and not the clip to retain it in the sheath, it'll just be a little bump where the clip was. I have recently stopped forming too tightly around the clip area, but just doing a SOFT forming to allow for the clip, it looks more appealing to me and hope others find it to be as well.

Good question though MtMike!

Forgot! Thanks Ed for posting those images and appreciate you letting me borrow one for my Strider web page...:)
As always, wear it in Good health!

indeed more excellent work done by Gary.
And once agian Gary you've out done yourself these sheaths are Great.

Gary has made quite a few sheaths for my folders(Sebenzas, customs, etc.), and all have been excellent but after making so many he just keeps getting better.
He made 2 for my wife's Strider AR, and my AR which looks the same as Ed's but in black, and different embossing. They are huge; of course the knives are huge:D But he has a new way of doing the loop on the back for the belt in making them longer so you can tilt them enough for when you get out of a vehicle, etc. without hanging up as well as will fit any belt out there. My wife is a LEO(law enforcement officer), and she puts it on her duty belt on her uniform, and can still tilt it as with her being short waisted works very well.
He was somewhat worried that it might be a problem getting the knife out of the holster with the long loop but I can say that on mine anyway, that the handle sticks out just enough to get a good purchase on the knife, and it slides out smoothly with NO hang-up.
He has always done excellent work but keeps getting better, and coming up with new ideas to make them better, and does;)
Sorry this was soooo long but thought I would throw in my .02 cents worth in here, and comment/compliment how well he did on our Strider sheaths.
Will expect a discount on the next 2 sheaths I am in line for you to make Gary:D
Excellent sheath maker, and great person to deal with.

OK rant mode off:D

Ditto. Thanks Gary. U make a good point Mike, low key and AR don't really belong in the same sentence do they? For some reason I think the brown sheath just makes it a little less intimidating. Glad your happy with yours Larry. Take care all. ec

Like the color of your sheath, it matches your belt well.
Again thanks for the great deal on the GB, and when Gary gets time, and my number comes up, he is going to make a left hand carry for it to go along with the one he made for the AR.:D
Told you that his work was great, and you would like what he does, and of course you got a sample of that in the sheaths you got from me for the Sebenza.
Thought I might have to put a lanyard on mine like you did, but with the way the handle sticks out, and the perfect purchase he did on the mold, I have NO problem taking it out.
I am sure you like I will have him make you more sheaths in the future as your folder family grows :D
Enjoy:)

Larry
