Anyone know a site where I can get an arc aaa?? Right now I have this little Dorcy AAA flashlight from wal-mart that was really inexpensive. I like it so much that Id like something really small and tough to keep on my keychain or in my pocket all the time. Ive got a photon on there now but Id prefer something that is a hair brighter, runs longer, and its simple to switch the batt. out.

I figured the ARC aaa was a good choice after some research. The onr thing I like about the dorcy is its press-for -light tail cap. The arc looks like a twisty one.......

Any suggestions for a bright long lasting aaa light with a sure-fire type tailcap???

Does anybody else have the Dorcy? How do they compare to the Arc? I think theyre great for the 6 bucks they cost. They run a relly long time and are small and light, and the momentary tailcap is cool. Heck mine made it through the washer!

I saw ARC's site before , theres a 5 week wait. I was wondering if there was anywhere else to get one.?

Candlepower forums B/S/T is pretty much the only place you can get them nowadays. I just sold one on ebay for 40 bucks...

Often times you can find Arc AAA's on E-Bay. Or like Minjin mentioned, over at CPF (CandlePowerForums) on Buy/Sell/Trade. Yes it (Arc AAA) is a twisty, but that helps make it pretty reliable. I am able to easily operate mine with one hand.

I don't have a Dorcy AAA, but many CPF folks seem to really like theirs, though durability may be an issue. It's for sure not going to be anywhere near as durable as the Arc AAA though.

Check out this thread .... AAA and AA comparisons
