HI's 24" TearDrop Sirupate by Lok Kami with 6" Spyderco Poliwog

This blade porn is specially dedicated to a friend in Ho Chi Minh whose giant Sirupate was snatched by the custom.

May you enjoy the pics, Hung!:)

Beautiful blade!

I can't help but think with that curvature though, a more bonecutter style deep/long sweet spot would be so much more effective though. With such a sweeping blade, it seems like it would be hard for the blade not to want to snake into the recurve area during striking.

I'm not an expert though. ;)

Gorgeous regardless.

Jay,

This is totally not good at all!

When I first scroll down the pix. I remember my Young Sher's. Very uneasy feeling. How much I hate them! Then I see you text at the end. Thanks for the pix.

They also robbed me my Steve Sheath.

Next time i will get you envy with Mr Singh! Hahaha!

I already salivate.....:D

I imagine it'll work like a sickle or scythe. Gotta do the old Cold Steel test with chunks of pig to be sure, I bet it'll do some mean damage.

There's a video somewhere on this forum of a HI member using one to destroy a melon of some sort. They mainly took side cuts with it as I recall from the video.

For some reason it reminds me of the Khopesh as used by the Abyssinians to reach over their enemies' shields.

That's our Mod Karda. That is some awesome video!
I accidentally stumbled across another called "Kupree"? Mind to correct Karda?
