arc lock questions/

I recnetly got a vulcan mini and its awesome. I got it lightly used and it the first arc lock Ive dealt with. I know the lock uses 2 springs but one springs is much thicker than the other and the thicker spring is also much looser around the lock pin while the other smaller spring is very tight around the pin on the other side. I figure that the looser spring is to allow it to take over more as the knife wears. I called SOG and they said as long as it locks its ok and they wouldnt look at it unless it doesnt lockup. It does look as if someone took the knife apart at one time due to a couple screws being marred slightly. I just was wondering if possibly the springs were not put in correctly during assembly. Is the springs different sizes on your knife? Is one of the springs looser fitting on the lock pin? Thanks for the help.

I think mine are the same size and both tight.
