If this is off topic, I apologize.

So I've been looking around at the various options for range finders. I've looked through all the standard laser range finders, but I've also been looking at ones like the Dead On Range finder.

There are a few people out there making range finders like this now. What do you guys think of this type of range finder?

Have you ever tried using one of those golf range finders that are just a scope?

I'd like to find something inexpensive, but at the end of the day I just want something that will work.

I want to hunt turkey with my bow as well. I was thinking that I could just use the full height of the turkey as opposed to the the height of the deers torso.

Thanks folks.

I went witg a Bushnell yardage pro. Once in my stand I pre range any openings a deer may come into. It works awesome but are around $150.

Best of luck,
Mike

Thats what I use. The 400 yd. Bushnell. I got mine from Natchez supply for 100 bucks several years ago.
Same thing, pre range where my shots will most likely be.

+3 on the $149 Bushnell unit. I looked at more expensive ones, but had a hard time figuring out which was the best and why so I bought the cheapest Bushnell, thinking I'd upgrade later on when I figured out what I really needed. I never needed anything better!

Stay sharp,
