Friend Bill,
Nonplussed Tuesday and e-mailed you. No need to reply. But your question and concern about the Archived Posts is shared by me, and I know, many of us.
As soon as you know what the situation is with respect to archived material, it might be a good idea to make a post, prominently labeled, apprising us of our condition.
With Respect,
Ken

Any notion of when, or even if, we'll have access to the old forum? I need some info from it about various things and am going to be more than just a little annoyed if we lose that for good -- and I know it's no one's fault, but that doesn't really matter at this point.

:
Would anyone like for me to post the sharpening post I made in this forum, or should we wait a few days to see if we get the old forum back?
Bro?

I posted it in the other forum across the way.

Bro, if I remember correctly the caput forum had over 18,000 posts, actually I think it was around 18,900 and climbing when it went down.
The closest forum in amount of posts is the knife review forum that now also has 18,900+ posts.
I was compareing the HI forum and the knife review foum to see if there was any difference in speed and the knife review forum was okay.

I believe Cougar is right about the amount of pix taking up more room as he said in another post.
