people keep telling me to search the archives and i do i really do want to but i got in and go to knife makers and it says there have been no posts and then i go back adn go to search and no hit maybe im doing something wronge with my life here never had so much problem with a search....
 
Darn it.....i dont know what im doing wronge i have been trying this all day and still it even says others are viewing this is just teasing me till i break down and cry...why must the simple things in life be so hard...
 
Ok, here we go.....Click on the Archive link at the top of the page on the far right. When you get there go to the Shop Talk Forum (13th down) and click on it. The forum will open up and say:
There have been no posts in the last 30 days in this forum.
Try using the controls below to search for any older posts that may exist.
You will now need to click the drop down menu on From the: and click on Beginning.
Sorted By: Thread Title Last Post Time Number of Replies Number of Views Thread Starter Thread RatingSort Order: Ascending DescendingFrom the: Last Day Last 2 Days Last Week Last 10 Days Last 2 Weeks Last Month Last 45 Days Last 2 Months Last 75 Days Last 100 Days Last Year Beginning
After you do this a list of threads will open up.
Now go to this and click on Search Forum.
Threads in Forum: Shop Talk ArchiveForum Tools vbmenu_register("forumtools");

Search this Forum vbmenu_register("forumsearch");
menu_open.gif




You can now type in your search term and you should be able to find what you are looking for.

After you do this a list of threads will open up.

Now go to the yellow bar and click on Search Forum on the far right in blue.

You can now type in your search term and you should be able to find what you are looking for.
 
ok thank you very much turn out the problem was the either the word i typed were to general and it just did nothing/took to long and web site gave up for bandwith sake........problem solved thanks very much this shows im more loved here than in my home :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
