I wrapped my wife's and my ARC using the Strider method (http://www.striderknives.com/html/handlewrapping.html).
As for the best Ontario knife, that probably depends on your application and tastes, but I have a TAK that I have been really pleased with so far. It has a big brother (RTAK) if you like larger blades. These are very tough knives, and not terribly expensive, but again, they may not fit your needs. Perhaps if you told us the application you want them for?
