Dear All,

I have a Camillus Arclite that I love (lots of knife for the price, lovely lines...I know, I know, I'm just a cheapskate). I would like to fit some scales to it, but I have no knifemaking experience of any sort. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am prepared to get some help using woodworking tools or plastics if necessary. And given the price of the knife, obviously any solution will need to be a fairly cheap one...

I find myself unable to cordwrap the handle, due to its curves. Of course if anyone has been able to cordwrap one successfully, that would be a suitable answer also...

Cheers, Acolyte.

Two guys I know of could help you: STR here on the forums (look in knifemakers specific forums) and Justin Gingrich of Ranger Knives:http://www.rangerknives.com/

Just shoot him an E-mail or call him and he could definately help you out.

I did it that way, maybe u like it.

It is Cord without the inner strands, feels good in the hand and still lightweight and flat with alot more grip.

Thanks Shriek, that is superb. Beautiful job there, but I may need to practcie before I can come up with something quite that nice!

Cheers, Acolyte.

i wrapped mine for a while like it shows on the strider knives website, i eventually took it off though, thought it was too thick.
