That look is definitely growing on me. Very nice. I want to see what the white looks like after some use though. Then, I may have to get me one (or two)!
When I dropped an arctic white on the gravel at Knob Creek, it put a very small chip in the coating. It's not a powder coat, more like a high gloss automotive paint. So I went to Pep Boys and found arctic white touchup paint. I haven't gotten around to using it up yet, but I'm reasonably confident it'll touchup well. Truth be told, my Knob Creek knives are all still in the backpack I brought them home in -- I removed them to take some pictures (which didn't turn out very well; the lighting made everything look yellow), and then I put them back.
I asked Garth about the arctic white coat durability; he said it stands up very well and that he likes it a lot. Personally, it's hard to fault a coating for chipping when dropped on rock, and I liked it well enough to get a pair of the hand-shaped black/arctic white FSH from the VetDayGanzaaa -- I'm quite happy with them.
Very nice pair of blades,,,,,,, bet a arctic white with black an tan smoothed G-10 would make one hellova 3 of a kind,,,,, if you was so inclined ,,,,,, Congrats on the pair
