I purchased one at my local antique store and it seems to be a pretty solidly built knife. I have seen poor quality knives from Pakistan in the past but this doesn't compare. Thanks for reading.

i'm sure they are capable of quality, and there probably are some talented makers from there... i would hate to be a custom maker in pakistan, the marketing of his knives would drive ya nuts:D

one of the best knives i own is a pakistani sub-hilt rip-off (15 in. oa also from a pawn shop)

i'm sure that those paky knives are 440a but its hard 2 put a good edge on them.its gotta be very low grade.

Pakistani knives that end up on the American market will tend to be very low end, and it will be reflected in quality. This is different than the notion that all knives made in Pakistan are poor quality.

They can make AK-47's with their bare hands and a few files and junk tools,i guess they can turn out some good knives too,but i would be leery of their guns and their knives. All of the Paki knives i've had were total Junk!
