Are all serrated blades chisel ground?

I like serrated blades, but I've noticed that all serrated blades I've ever seen are ground on only one side of the blade. I guess the reason for this is simplicity (a serrated edge is hard enough to sharpen as it is, even when you only need to sharpen it on one side of the blade), but would it be possible to make a serrated knife, where the serrations are ground from both sides of the blade? Like I said, I like serrations, but one drawback with them is that since the edge is not centered on the blade, it tends to be a little hard to make straight cuts with them sometimes (much like with a chisel ground plain edge). Has anyone else been thinking about this?

CRK does folders and fixed blades with his serrations cut into both sides of the blade.
