Are Butch Ball knives any good?

Just wondering. I've been looking at a Butch Ball flipper with Alabama Damascus and CF handles. Surprisingly, it is not that expensive, coming in at $500, which is a great price for damascus and carbon fiber. I just want to know in general if his knives are any good.
 
I'm looking at a scorpion m on knife center. Looks so sweet for an okay price! It has cf scales and alabama Damascus for both blade and bolster. Only down side is that the blade is too small. The whole knife is only 7.6 inches or so.
