Are Ka-Bar knives made in USA?

I started a thread several weeks back asking about USA made knives. Ka-Bar wasn't mentioned. Are they? TIA,

Some are. The Kabar website is nice in that it actually lists country of origin for each knife. It would be nice if more manufacturers would do this.
 
Like others said, Ka-Bar has both US production and Taiwanese. And I think, also, Chinese, for some of the cheapest models like the TDI LDK.

But don't be afraid about the Taiwanese stuff. They seem to be just as good as the US manufactured stuff. The heavy bowies and the standards and large size TDIs for example are made in Taiwan, and all are great knives for the price.
 
Yeah, my Heavy Bowie is from Taiwan. I just got it but it's been great so far, the quality doesn't concern me much (though I'd like to chop for a while and see how the edge lasts). It is quite pleasant how straight-forward KaBar is with telling you the details of each model, like grind and country of origin.
