Are patterns like Schrade LB7, Buck 110 and the Gerber Black Gulch considered Traditional.
The Buck came out in '64 and I believe the LB7 came out around the same time and I'm sure many other companies came out with very similar patterns around then too.
The reason I ask is because I have some of those patterns and some Gerber Silver Knights that I'd love to post here but I'm not sure if I'd violate any forum rules here.
I personaly believe they should be included because of their age as Traditional Lockbacks but I'm only a minority here.
If this is to be kept a Traditionals, (Slipjoint only) forum than I agree but how would that apply to Leafspring locks and button locks like on some Schrade autos, (I could be wrong as I've only ever held a few in my hands), Opinels or Swiss Barrel knives, (maybe they're not included as they are not Traditional American patterns.
Which confuses me even more because don't a lot of Traditional patterns have their roots in the old European patterns.
I gotta stop thinkin' so much, my head hurts.
