are Midlands good GMRS radios?

i'm looking to spend about $50-60 for a pair of good GMRS walkie-talkies.. would you recommend midland? if so....any particular models?

Try to find the G7. I've been using them for quite a while now when cutting down trees in really bad weather and they work really great.
