I've been disappointed with liner lock knives before.

Sadly I've bought MTech and Master brand knives before and they are crap.

I've found some Mossberg brand knives for a cheap price and am wondering are these of better quality then MTech or Master?

Is Mossberg worth buying?

do you have a link?

if it is the firearm company mossberg, they could very well be relabeled junk.

Mossberg doesn't make knives. They are made for them, probably by a variety of cheap manufacturers. AFAIK only Browning has really decent knives made for them (by Mcusta). Smith & Wesson has a mix of some decent, most trash. Can't tell till you buy & cry. That's how it is, when a company rents out or sells their logo for quick cash.

Go for a standard brand. Even when Benchmade, CRKT, Kershaw, Spyderco do have knives made offshore, they supervise the quality control and stand behind them.

I had a couple, that a friend at a large retailer here gave me a good deal on.

Three words: Buy Something Else. There are a ton of good brands out there, that don't cost very much, and the QC is much better. Mossbergs are worse than the worse MTechs, IMHO.

thx - cpr

HK has good knives made for them by Benchmade, and Sig Sauer (sigTac) knives are a steal if you buy them from their website, made by Fox Cutlery.

From what I have seen, Mossberg knives are not worth owning.

we can also add the glock field knives to that list. made by glock (infact, didn't they make the knives before the guns came out?)
