Are old and new Gayle Bradley folders different? I'm talking about the carbon fiber one, not the air model.

newer ones have skeletonized liners and the "Gayle Bradley Weatherford" stamp on the locking side of the blade. Supposedly, the older ones have blades with a higher HRC.

What is the difference in weight between the two?

Is the supposed difference in hardness noticeable?

the difference in weight is minimal, I can barely tell the difference. I haven't tried to compare the hardness between the two, but I do use the newer version a lot and carry it often, and it is by itself one of the best performing slicers I have. I've sharpened both, and one doesn't seem to be any easier or harder to sharpen than the other using paper wheels.
