Hey guys, I went to a local pawn shop recently and they had an old 3 blade Boker knife on display. When i think of Boker a high quality German made knife comes to mind. I was surprised when this knife said Boker USA on the tang. The blades were stained some but they felt good and tight. Overall, the knife was in good shape, but I'm not familiar with a USA made Boker. I have owned a few German made Bokers in the past and they were outstanding knives. Are the older USA made ones just as good as the German ones?

I have a few and they are good knives. I'd say mine are every bit as good as the US made Schrade knives.

I'll second that - a Boker USA is a knife to look for and buy when you find one. OH

SAK Guy, send a PM to RangerBlueDog - he is the man when it comes to Boker's. OH

I have several and they are great knives. They also made the John Primble knives under contract during certain years.
No expert, but I know they are the ones that have a Star symbol below the model number.
