Are PCKS 110's worth the $?

I've been spending some time on the PCKS page, messing around with various combinations. The one that I like the best is smooth asian water buffalo handle, BG42 blade, nickel bolster, no serrations, no finger grooves, no rivets. Very classy-looking black and silver. The price is $112.

The question is, is it worth it? I can walk into WalMart any day of the week and get a plain old 110 with 420HC for $30. For $112, I could almost buy 4 of the stock 110's!

So from those of you who own a PCKS 110, is it worth it?

Yeah! I'd say that just about sums it all up!

Get one. Then let us know how you like it & is it worth it!:D

I took the Sebenza plunge once...the same design BG42/buffalo horn (except for texture) 110, you mentioned, replaced it. A bit heavier, but so much better to look at and tougher. I know if I ever have any problems with it, Bucks excellent customer service is just a phone call or e mail away.

Man, stay away from them custom Bucks. The damn things are addictive. They took all my money, I can't sleep at night think'n about 'em. I had to join a support group (The Buck Collector's Club) to get help deal'n with my problem. And to think that I used to be so happy with that other junk. ;) Racer Roy

KNOWLEDGE THAT IS NOT SHARED IS LOST.

I agree with Racer Roy - I'll bet, after you get your first PCKS 110, you'll be back for more, and more, and more..... Fortunately, as he stated, there is a Support Group :D and tons of info, and advice, and encouragement and knives, and knives, and did I mention, knives!!!!

Please, if you take the plunge, as most of us here have, many times over, let us know what YOU think.... Pleasantly Surprised and Overwhelmingly Pleased are two terms that come to mind!! ;)
