NOT to make light of the drug problem we have in America today, But I've read where some users have become addicted to methamphetimine with 1 use of the drug. This would have to be a very potent drug to cause that! With that disclaimer, I find that I could become addicted to the Sebenza very easily. From my other post's you know that I just received my first one yesterday, a large ironwood inlaid Classic, and I have already signed up for the new folder that CRK will be bringing out next year (2007). I've now made some inquires about a new 2005 large LE sebenza w/California buckeye burl as the inlaid wood.

You know, CRK needs to put a "can be habit forming" warning label on their boxes! :D

hmmm. All you had to say was "new 2005 large LE sebenza w/California buckeye burl", and I felt the need for another Sebenza!

Like Fooj said, we ARE your support group. Yes, Sebenza's ARE habit forming. I hope Santa will bring me a Dog Paws Sebbie!!

They may very well be. I got my first over a couple of weeks ago. I had to lay it down two days ago because of an injury and I find it difficult not to pick it up.

Hmmm . . . sounds like there may be an interesting story behind this comment!

I don't know about the drugs part, but they are addictive. I just bought one this evening.

I would say yes. I have not taken or tried meth. personally, but a couple friends of mine were in deep. One was hooked for a couple years and got off of it,the other did not. Both "wanted" to quit! I "do not want" to quit the Sebs! The funny thing is I get one just ordered and I am looking at another.

I just bought my first Seb from Burnsy56 off this forum. A small plain regular and I was lucky to find a Gary Graley sheath for it.

As for the additiction, check out TNK. Neil just added 40+ large sebs to his site. The Mammoth inly pic'd above is beautiful as are many other's TNK has for sale now. The stainless damascus blades will certianly get you looking for your "next hit"!

I dunno about the drugs part either, but YES, they ARE addictive.

Yes, CRK products can be habit forming. Speaking up which, I just picked up a 2006 LE makka wood small Sebenza with dual thumblugs. I'll post pictures when I have time. :)

I didn't mean to hijack the thread, but thanks eveyone for the support.

I like the scews the way they are, I like th e"machine" look of it. I probably won't go gardening with it, but I expect to rotate in/out EDC.

DaveH: I too like the screws the way they are. That IS a beautiful Sebbie you have there. I am equally happy that you are going to rotate that beauty in/out of your EDC!!

I went to TNT and drooled over the Sebbies that they have. OMG!!!

Also went to TNK and he has more Sebenza's than I've ever seen at one place! And I like them ALL!! :D
