Are Shaman G10 Scales Different than the Military/PM2's? Can they not be?

I recently held a Shaman that was marked as G10, but it really felt more FRNish to me. The G10 scales didn't feel like the scales on my PM2 or Military. They were thicker, smoother, more "plasticy", and more rounded as opposed to the flatter, grippier scales on the PM2 and Military.

However, I only examined the Shaman cursorily. This was the C229GPBK model.

Now that I google a bit, it seems the Shaman was made only in G10. True?

If so, is there any third-party that makes PM2/Military-like scales for the Shaman? If I could take my PM2 or Military scales and magically resize them to fit a Shaman, that would be perfect.

They just released the green canvas micarta Shaman in CPM-M4 not too long ago, sold out but it's around.

A few aftermarket scale makers, do Micarta.

I have Sharp dressed micarta(flat and beveled) on one Shaman and fireside, on another.
