I picked up a false PM2 on EBay a while ago. I filed a complaint and EBay shut the page down. I already paid for a Gayle Bradley, are they commonly counterfeited? Thank you. I will post a review and pictures once I get it.

I haven't seen or heard of one. Seems like most fakes are G10. Doesn't mean they aren't around. Out of 40+ Spydies only one came from EBay. That was a very hard to find discontinued knife. Normally I avoid it like the plague.

I've not seen nor heard of any fake ones popping up, and it's been around for a while. If you're genuinely concerned, post a few pics when the knife arrives.

And if it's legit (I'm sure it is), congratulations on picking up THE best Spydie. :D

You bought a knife on ebay and got burned, then you bought ANOTHER one hoping to not get burned again? We will all recommend buying from known dealers with a good history. There are a number of very good dealers that are bladeforum sponsors, such as Knifeworks.

Never seen one, but I have browsed the nightmare that is DHGate (it's like Amazon's evil twin) to get an idea of what to be leery of as far as fakes, it seems that the most commonly faked models are the Civilian, Endura, PM2 and weird nonexistent models...never seen a fake Bradley.

I haven't seen any fakes of the GB to date, but it wouldn't be the first Taichung knife to have a clone out there.

Just out of curiosity, how much money did you save buying on the "bay" as opposed to buying from a well known, reputable knife retailer. Personally, the anxiety of waiting to see if I get a fake isn't worth saving a few bucks.

Not trying to be snarky, but after the sheer number of fakes I've seen from eBay or Amazon 3rd party sellers it just isn't even something I would consider.

It's sweet. Thank you to Sal and Mr. Bradley for such a magnificent knife. I bought it from Ebay for a bid. It goes for $166 on Amazon, I bidded it for $135.

You are always running a risk by purchasing ANYTHING on the bay. Sooner or later your luck WILL run out. Good luck.
