Are Spyderco UltraFine rods "compatible" with S30v Sebenza?

I was wondering if UltraFine rods for Spyderco Sharpmaker are any better than the Fine rods bundled in the package. S30v seems to have a high content of vanadium carbides. Will the UltraFine rods be able to sharpen it at all? Has anybody tried using them for Sebenza touch-ups?

I use the Ultra Fine rods for touch-ups on my small regular Sebbie (w/S30V). They work very well for me.

works fine on spyderco S30V. I'm a very happy bunny. it seems to bring out the best from the steel.

They work for me on my large Sebenza. Produces/maintains a very sharp edge.
