Are Spyderco's made in the USA now?

Some are made in Japan, some are made in the USA, and now some are being made in Taiwan. It has to do with materials being used.

Not all the US models are "expensive:" the Native is made in the US. All CPM-440V knives are made in the USA, in fact.

I believe only the 440V are made in the Golden location as of this point. However, I hear they plan to expand the US location to allow more models.

The problem is getting some of the metals over here is expensive, and thus cheaper to have them done over in Seki City, Japan.

Carlos, Sal, or other <img src="http://spyderco.com/forum/spyder.gif"> crew can give you a better answer though.

US Made Spydercos:

C36 Military
C41 Native
C63 Chinook
C64 Meerkat (Drop Point in 440C)
C66 Vesuvius
C68 Gunting
C69 Lil' Temperance
T01 Spyderwrench

I think these are all of them at the moment.
