Are Strider knives custom or factory?

What would the general concensus be? I just got one today, and have to say that I am quite impressed with it so far. It is a model SA by the way. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

BH,

Strider Knives are both handmade and custom (if you order them with modifications.) The shop is still small enough that you can call them to make your own design or modify one of the existing designs. Try doing that with any of the "factory" brands.

Thanks Brian for the info, I got it used from forum member E__WOK. I have only got to play with it for an hour, but it is more than I expected. Now I'm thinking about getting an MT for a larger knife. It is definately one stout knife.

Tom, you obviously know them......The S/A is a great custom piece, and the MT is probably going to be my next purchase, they are awesome.

I just had the good fortune to meet the principals at the Crossroads of the West gunshow in Anaheim the weekend before last. Although I was duly chastised by them for my selection of an institution of higher learning, I must say they are great guys with an exceptional product. I don't believe anyone seeking a tactical fixed blade knife could go wrong with a Strider.
