Overpriced? You could buy yourself a chainsaw and still have money left for gasoline....

I have two available for purchase if you want to find out how much they blow! ;) If Jason endorses my stuff, how bad can they be??? :D

They are good, and a tad over priced. However, in their defense, they don't use cheap steel and the Paul Bos heat treat isn't the cheapest out there, either. But, to play devil's advocate, the grinds are simple and easy to do, their grips are even more simple and easy to make, and rivets - cheap again. It is a strong knife, though. But for $350-400 there a lot of superior knives available - with a lot of custom makers in there, too. Fuhrman Knives immediately comes to mind in that price range. Ontario's Rats are better survival knives in D2 or carbon for less than 1/3 the cost. Cold Steel's Recon Scout is a 5/16th thick carbon blade that should take a good beating, be easier to sharpen than any Strider, and hold it's edge longer - it goes for $90-100. It's heavy, though.
