Hey Northern Hunter, I can't speak to the forum issues but I can certainly answer the question in your thread title. For me, the answer is a resounding yes! My Pacific Salt and Delica are my two most carried and used folders. Ti millies, Tusk, Sprint pm2's sit on the sideline while these frn beauties have all the fun. For me it is more than just the idea that they are cheaper and more "expendable". I genuinely love and often prefer the designs and performance of many of the frn knives.
 
Not for me. I love using my Ti Millie and my Calypso! I sure as hell am not spending high dollar on a knife to let it sit in the Spyderpac forever.

Looking back over your posts, I find 3 posts from Dec. 21, 2015 about a posting problem. Two of those posts were deleted. All three were in the Spyderco forum.

When you need help with a technical problem, please post in Tech Support. We cannot possibly have the staff to scan all the discussion and exchange forums.
 
My least expensive Spydie is my less used. I got my Persistence and used it a lot until I got my Sage 1 and then my PM2.

When no one else is having the problem like you then the problem is with you. Perhaps it's the old Slave Lake interwebs at fault.
