The black bladed Para 2's apparently came out today. This guy on ebay is trying to auction one off at a crazy price.

It would have to be a crazy price. He bought it at the factory outlet, which charges full retail, so for him to make any profit, he'd have to sell it for a lot more than he paid (since he paid tax as well as ebay taking their cut). He's probably hoping that someone will buy it to be the first one on the block to have one.

And yeah, you should edit your post and remove the link. Auction/deal spotting is prohibited at BFC because it's unfair to its paid advertisers and subscribed dealers.

I havent seen any black bladed ones, but I did see some Digi-Cam/satins and yes one is coming my way.... :o

Lord, I'm weak.... :p

My bad, its just a pre-order. Oh well....

I didn't know posting links was forbidden. I will read the rules more clearly and edit the link out.

I don't know if i like the ss screws more than black screws. In the catalog the para was all black which I didn't like first but now I want it all black.

Is it really "deal spotting" to post a link to a knife you feel is overpriced?

Just for clarification. SFO only charges full MSRP on the internet so as not to compete with Spyderco's dealers. However, if you visit them in person, the price is lower. IIRC around 25% off which, while not a low as some of the deep discounters, is a fair bit less than full MSRP.

They are in stock at Knifecenter.

I saw that. It's a little weird though, on the picture in the Spyderco catalog, the knife was all black, including the hardware. On knifecenter.com, it looks like the clip screws are black and the rest of the screws and lanyard tube metal colored. I hope that on the actual knife, everything is black.

Believe that, aside from the clip and clip screws, the hardware is uncoated steel.
