Are the Blue S110V Paramilitary's Sprint Runs?

I just got a phone call telling me that a Blue paramilitary 2 is available for pick up. However, I'm not really that interested if it's a full production run and will likely not purchase the knife if it isn't a sprint run. Does anyone here know if these Dark Blue S110V Paramilitary's are sprint runs?

Thanks a lot

As far as I know all the "Blurple" s110v models will be regular production runs.

All the CPM-S110V Blue G-10 ParaMilitary2, Native5, Manix2 and Military are regular production models. The blue G-10 is also known as “midnight blue” and “blurple". There are also LightWeight Blue FRN regular production models: Native5 and Manix2.

You can read more about the S110V models in the March 2016 Spyderco Byte newsletter: http://www.icontact-archive.com/c09d6xJ3viy1dy_gmiqSzo_T0vxfCmUC

The S110V blades are regular production but some models are hard to find. I've been carrying my PM2 in S110V every day since I got it, in January and love it. Highly recommended even though it isn't a sprint.

No sir. They are production runs.

Kinda of sucks though for those sprint runs using S90v and other similiar steels. They no longer command the price they once did

Thanks for the info everyone. I may end up still getting the knife and just keeping it as a user.

I just got my very first Manix LW yesterday, of the S110V kind :)

man, that knife is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! The handle is definitely not flimsy, I really like, it makes for the ultimate summer shorts EDC hehe. you should get one as a user, the whole fun is about experimenting with different steels.

i have had my blurple PM2/S110V for about three months now! regular production model, but i really think spyderco has upped there game!because its one of the smoothest PM2's i ever had my hand's on,i would just get it and file it away as the best user you will ever own.:)

So, just got my S110v PM2 in the mail and HOLY COW is this thing an incredible slicer! Is it the steel, or the sharpening from Spyderco? I've never had one come this sharp!

The detent is super strong, and the blade doesnt fall closed like my other compression locks do, but I'm hoping it wears in. Anyone have experience they can chime in with?

Little lube in the pivot and flick.....a lot!!
It will get smoother! Just got the M4 exclusive yesterday. Little tight. Sprayed some Ballistol in the pivot and let it set for an hour. Today it's a free swinger! Smooth as oiled glass!

My first PM2 arrived yesterday,,,, blue S110V,,, a little tight,,, some Nano-Oil 5wt in the pivot/washers and 10wt in the lock = great improvement.

Fantastic knife for $150 shipped free.

Perfect workmanship and construction.

More on the way with PM2 in M4 steel inbound.

Love mine. Like it even better knowing that I can replace it if need be. Great knife in a great steel. Has broken in quite nicely.

Chapter Two on slightly stiff action.

Broke out the Wiha Torx bits this morning,,, very slight turn on the stop pin screw,,,, no change.

Very slight torque, less than 1/8 turn on the pivot screw,,, fantastic,,, the blade drops with gravity and still very tight no play and centered perfectly.

This PM2 S110V did not have the RED Loctite apparently, easy turn with proper fitting bits.

My S110V Para 2 is the smoothest and nicest P2 I've seen. So nice I couldn't bring myself to use it for several months. Now it gets pretty regular carry. I like it a lot.

My buddy has the blue 110 and I have the black s30v. They cut exactly rhe same, which is very very good for the price.

I have to say spyderco does an excellent job on factory edges. Blows away any other company I've dealt with. Makes my chris reeve knives look like butter knives.

A few years ago, I was into Chris Reeve knives, had 8 total with many wood annual editions.

Sold them all off when I realized Spyderco were a fraction of the cost with excellent selection of steels and designs.

The PM2 is my new favorite, I did keep a few older Military issues from about 1999 with CPM 440V (now S60V).
