Are the Camillus Heat and Blade models hard to get?

I try looking for them on the knife store sites and I can't find any in stock. Are they that hard to get? How much do they go for? Thanks.

The Ontario has aquired all the stocks made for Camillus including the "heat" when the company went broke. They are now branded under Ontario I believe.

The Heat and Blaze show up on ebay pretty regularly - the old ones, from Camillus, with AUS8 blade steel.

The new ones have 440C blades and AFAIK they're being made in Spain now.
They are easily available.

WARNING the "Spain" ones are made in China and not Spain, although they are imported from China into Spain and exported from Spain. They say "Spain" not "made in" on the blade and box. I got one a few weeks ago, and I have a bunch of the real ones from a year or so back when SMKW put them on close out. The new ones are no where near as good. I have not handled the Ontario or Remington ones ( same maker) but I have been told they are made in Twain and are of far better quailty.

It looks like those on NewGraham are the newer 440c ones, not the original AUS8.

eBay has some of the original AUS8 ones selling for $80+

Have one of the older AUS8 versions, solid knife- if you can find one grab it. Kinda forget I have it, think I'll carry it tomorrow

Not sure, but GPKnives may have a few of the AUS8 Sizzles. I'm not real sure about the 440 versions, I think they may be 440a, not 440c.

I wish I were able to snag one (well, an extra one to the one I carry) when they went to closeout price
