Hi Everybody,

been working on this project for myself for months.

(sheath makers sheaths are always last)

Black Carbon fiber over Red Carbon fiber
red ring accent eyelets
I drew a Triceratops stencil so my laser guy could cut it out and I had a stencil made for the Mutants also :)

Oh I made the chain Maille background It was very very challenging :) IMG_2878.JPGIMG_2882.JPGIMG_2884.JPG

what do you think ?

Awesome sheath! I really like the triceratops. I would use mine more if I knew how to sharpen it properly.

Do you work for Umbrella Corporation? Because that chain mail looks like their logo (it'd be a perfect match had it been white and red). Are you trying to tell us the zombie apocalypse is nearly upon us? Time to grab our Busses and prepare to fight the hordes? If so, I'm not sure if I should be frightened or excited. Kinda hard not to be a little excited, right?

Yes that sheath is cool! Somehow reminds me of certain sports cars like a Dodge Demon or a Dodge Viper logo. That red with the carbon fiber goes very well together. The accent pieces really make it pop.

But I'm more impressed with the chain mail (and your dedication!) and the challenge that must have been!

I have always liked the triceratops though they don’t get much love on the aftermarket. I think it’s a great grind and design.

Now..to the sheaths 😊 WHEN (not if) can we expect the chain mail adorned Kydex!?!

You are truly an artist Dave 👍

funny you should mention chain Maille on kydex :) stay tuned fans LOL. (Might be a little while)

That's a great looking sheath. The Triceratops is one of my favorite designs. I bought 3, traded 1 and have carried the other one quite a bit. I also need lessons on sharpening the complex triple grind. I can keep it usable but not great.

I look at it from the aspect of sharpening 3 different knives
when you set it up sharpen each edge as a different knife
with the bottom of the tip a convex grind
then 2 recurved hollow grinds
That knife in the pic I have razor sharp.

I really like mine, but yeah, sharpening it still intimidates me.

That's a very cool sheath.

Thank you all for the kind words :)

Very nice! Awesome work as usual. Dave, I sent you a customer yesterday. You should be receiving an order for a F-16 sheath from a really cool guy from Crystal River, FL.
