Today I used my orange 110LT a bunch and it got me thinking about the 1st LT that I bought.
I liked the knife in principle and for the money I had to try one, but it didn't stay around that long. I never hated the knife but it just didn't stick, I never caried it all that much after the initial allure wore off and I wound up giving it to my buddy.

Maybe the timing was better or it really just took having an awesome color that I love, but the orange one stuck right away and I think I carried a good portion of that summer. It may not be one of my most frequently carried knives but I find new appreciation for the knife every time I put it on my belt for the week.
 
I pull ones out after awhile and give them a run. I'm not a seller so much so what I buy I end up with in my collection. I give a few away once in awhile.

I have lost interest in a knife put it away, pulled it back out years later and realized I liked it more now than then. that has happened to me, so I get it.......

I like the orange110lt more than the other colors, but don't have an orange one. lots of other colors. this is due to when these were in production I wasn't a huge orange fan. didn't love it or hate it. now I kinda prefer it on these models, my tastes have changed......

I don't even know when I started liking orange, but it became one of my favorite colors at some point.
What other colors have been offered ?
I know there was a Red one in a special steel ( and a Nascar one or something? ), a partially serrated blue one that was on special recently, of course the standard black and this orange one.
Did they do a green one in 420HC ?


I'm not a seller either but I also don't generally like hoarding knives I'm not using because I view knives most as cutting tools, so I tend to gift knives I'm not using.

yes, all kinds in 420hc. grey's, greens, tans, red and blue in special steel run through skblades. also different blade shapes. more recently upgraded steels in special runs and colors.

I looked online and all I saw was the slim.
I'd love to find a picture of the green one to see if it's something I want to track down.

I lied, but not on purpose. I do have an orange one. just forgot about it. some of the others i have are in the background, but there is more colors than these. I do not have them all.

the greens. one on the left is 420hc. one on the right more a drop point style, is cpm154. it's a more recent run. the bright lighting makes them look more bright than they actually are.....tomorrow when suns out I'll get a better Pic of the 420hc one for ya maybe in the Sunday Picture show...or I'll post here....

Where did you get that storage pouch?
 
I didn't even realize that there were other colors of LTs until one day, I bought a green one, thinking it was a Slim. But then I noticed the pattern on the plastic was different. Someone here told me that the Buck factory made different colors periodically, only available in the factory store. Don't know how many LT colors there were. Edit: Of course, I am talking about 112s.

I like having belt knives for situations where reaching into my pocket is difficult.

I picked up a pretty slick 88 or 89 stag 303 that I've wanted to post pics of, but can't because of imgur issues. Once I figure that out, I'll post a Pic. It fits right it in with your 305 stags

I had seen the red one posted here that everybody was excited about because had special blade steel and was only $40 or something, but I didn't know there were others till the orange one showed up in a web specials email.
