Are there any classy gentleman style Spyderco's suitable for EDC?

The most attractive one I've seen is the Vallotton which is a marvel to look at and doesn't have a tactical look to it, but from what everyone says, it's too heavy and bulky for EDC which is a shame because if it had the footprint of an Endura or Paramilitary, it would be perfect. I hear it's more of a collector piece that you don't want to beat up. Are there any alternatives that look like they could belong in a high quality briefcase or a pair of dress pants without attracting too much attention for the wrong reasons while still maintain heavy everyday use? Thanks.

Heavy use?
The original Gayle Bradley dressed up with some custom wood scales makes a pretty knife and you won't find many tougher.

The sage series are pretty classy imo. Ive only carried the 1 but you might try the 3.

You mean used often, not heavy use? I would think there are tons. Ti UKPK, Ti Delica, Damascus Delica in Stag, Centofante, Air, regular UKPK (I brought mine to the NASDAQ stock exchange once, I posted it on BF somewhere! Lol).

Centofante Memory . . . the quintessence of class:

I think you're throwing everyone off with the "heavy" adjective. This could very well mean cutting packing tape daily, which would probably be better described as "frequent" than "heavy."

Anyway, my recommendation is the Chaparral II, AKA the Chaparral Stealth. I love the ergos, the thin blade, and the handle details are very unique and classy. Also, it has a bit of heft which I associate with a gents knife. A member of the spyderco forums has used his for all sorts of incongruous tasks like gardening, and it's scratched to hell but isn't the worse for wear.

Runners up:
Chap I (CF)
GB Air
Sage 4

I like the Caly 3 CF for that role (I prefer at least 3 inch blades). Any of the Sages could also work.

-Chaparral in one of its ti iterations.
-Gayle Bradley Air
-Slysz Bowie is worth a look too I would say. Larger but still carries pretty sleek. It is about the same length as a Delica in the closed position I think.

I would second the Chaparral (especially the CF) and the Air. Both are fantastic dress options, and I have carried both when wearing suits. I also think the Domino is a decent option, especially if you are OK with the PM2's footprint. I love the Sage 3, but I find it a bit too wide for comfortable carry in suit or dress slacks. In khakis or jeans, it's good to go.

I'm a GB fan. I think the stock setup looks great with the factory CF scales, and there's no shortage of great scale makers here on BF if you want to dress it up. But then again, I tend to prefer larger knives for EDC use, so some may think it too heavy or large.

It really comes down to what characteristics you expect a "gentleman's folder" to have, and what characteristics you expect one not to have. I would say Spyderco's current lineup is devoid of them, because visible screws and pocket clips are no-no's for me but I expect I am in the minority.

I'm pretty sure a lot of folks would consider just about any of the Nishijin Glass Sprints to be gentlemanly. Same for the Des Horn, the Centofante Memory, any of the Chaparrals, the Sages (particularly the 1 and 4), the Dragonfly Tattoo, and a number of others.
