I know that a lot of websites and catologs sell emersons, but i want to go to a store and actually see for myself that knives. Does anyone know of a store in New York or Long Island that sells emerson knives?

Specialist, try the following places. I know I saw an Emerson or two in these places:
On Long Island:
T&T Gunnery, both the Seaford & Floral Park locations.
American Outdoors Sports in Amityville. Pretty large selection of knives.
In NYC:
Paragon Sports. They have a pretty decent selection. They also have a full dress CQC6. It's been there since last year's NY knife show. $4,000.00
