ZT knives attract me a little more every time i see one. But the one thing that turns me off is the weight. The only ZT ive owned was a 0566 and didnt like it because it was too heavy. Also didnt like the assisted opening. Are there any out there that have a bearing pivot that are lighter in weight? Most of them i see are like 5-6oz range. Do they make one in the 3oz range?

ZT knives are supposed to be somewhat large and overbuilt, which more often than not equates knives that are heavier, bulkier, and not something to take to an office setting if you have sensitive and skittish employees/employers. It says it all over the box. The lighter weight KAI designs are located in the Kershaw line up. But you can find some lower weight ZT knives, like the 0770CF and possibly the 0750. If weight is an issue, the Ken Onion series is excellent. Specifically the Blur, which is available in various steels. The Skyline is available in a couple different steels as well.

As RevDevil has already mentioned, the 0770cf is probably your best bet in the ZT line. 3oz weight and mine still flips very well after de-assisting it:

Greg & RD pretty much covered it all. The only thing I'll add is that ZT just released an extremely close variant of the 3.5" Hinderer XM-18. It's called the 0562CF. A lot of folks including myself are hopeful that ZT will eventually make a scaled-down version of that knife akin to the 3.0" XM-18. If they do, it will be the be-all, end-all ZT knife for me. Will ZT ever build that knife? I never really thought they would. But the fact that they released the 0770CF gives me and others hope that the day will come when they do.
